Ten years after its founding, Lawtree is taking a new step in its continued development. Effective September 1, Tamara Geboers will join the firm as its first Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In recent years, Lawtree has grown into an organization with approximately 50 attorneys, operating out of Antwerp, Turnhout, and Hasselt. To support this growth in a sustainable manner and further professionalize its internal operations, the firm is making additional investments in management, innovation, and organizational development with Tamara’s arrival.
With her legal background and extensive experience in management, consulting, and organizational development, Tamara will focus, among other things, on strategic projects, digitization, and further optimizing the firm’s day-to-day operations.
This expansion is intended to ensure that Lawtree’s attorneys can continue to focus fully on their core mission: supporting clients with high-quality legal expertise, pragmatic advice, and personal commitment.
“Lawtree has followed an impressive growth trajectory over the past ten years. I look forward to working with the partners and all my colleagues to continue building an organization that not only excels legally but is also operationally strong. An organization where people enjoy working together and where clients can count on efficient, high-quality, and forward-looking service,” said Tamara Geboers.
Niels Van den Heuvel, a partner at Lawtree, also emphasizes the importance of the reinforcement:
“Our people are our greatest asset. By investing in our employees and the support they receive, we not only strengthen our organization but also the quality and continuity of the services we provide to our clients. With Tamara, we’re bringing the right person on board to achieve that.”
With the appointment of Tamara Geboers, Lawtree reaffirms its commitment to continuing to invest in sustainable growth, professional development, and high-quality, forward-looking services in the years to come.
