Attorney/attorney tax law

LAWTREE Lawyers is a fast-growing and ambitious law firm with offices in Antwerp, Turnhout and Hasselt. Our team consists of 36 lawyers, each with their own specialization and expertise.

Profile

For our Hasselt office we are looking for a tax lawyer, preferably with one or more years of relevant experience. You have excellent drafting skills in Dutch (command of English and/or French is an asset). Striving for the most efficient solution for the client is your highest priority.

Some of the activities

Within our tax law department you will advise clients on all kinds of (inter)national tax issues and, where necessary, you will assist our clients in tax litigation and represent them before the courts. You will work on a variety of files, including tax optimization, corporate tax, VAT, personal income tax and tax litigation.

Your profile

• You have a master’s degree in law and an additional master’s degree in tax law.
• You have had initial professional experience within tax law (preferably as a tax attorney).
• You have an analytical and critical mind and can translate complex tax issues into concrete and understandable advice.
• You are communicatively strong, both orally and in writing and can advocate persuasively.
• You work accurately, proactively and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You are a go-getter, stress-resistant and always strive for the best possible results.
